Fat Ass 50K Race - 13th annual
Saturday January 8, 2011
Held at Bradley Palmer State Park, Topsfield, Mass.

What a day! The 9 o'clock start saw a record number of starters (125), a two foot snow bank at the start line and 10K of trail packed with snow and ice to run or for some to slip on. The list of finishers below are a real credit to themselves 31 miles of cold (28*-32* brr!) poor footing (yaks or screw shoes a must) and falling snow (3-4 inches) didn't stop these runners from going the distance. As always no FatAss 50 is possible without the help of friends, family (Roger & Tim) and the GAC Running Club.
