Mother's Day Six Hour Race

Held at Bradley Palmer State Park, Topsfield, Mass.
The Mother's Day Run Walk raised over $6000. 120 runners and 57 walkers turned out for the event. The money was raised through pledges, donations, and entry fees. Thanks to the volunteers and to Bradley Palmer State Park staff the event went off smoothly. Afternon showers did not seem to effect Jason Reed (44 Miles) or Lisa Mentzer (36 miles), the male and female winners, from running the entire six hours. The funds will be disbursed to the Hunt Breast Cancer Center and the Mass Coalition To Fight Breast Cancer.
Donations are still being accepted at the store.
