Mother's Day Six Hour Race

Mother's Day Run/Walk Success for 14th year
The 14th edition of the Topsfield 6 - Hour Run/ Walk for Breast Cancer took place under sunny skies this year.
The fundraiser is annually held at Bradley Palmer State Park and raises funds for The Hunt Breast Center. All monies
raised through pledges and contributions are to fight breast cancer. Many thanks go out to the park officials
and volunteers of Gil's Athletic Club, who host the event.
The run was won by Ron Farkash, running 44 miles in the 6 hour time limit. On the female
side G.A.C. club member Lori Lebel of Danvers, MA ran 37 miles to take the victory to for the third consecutive year.
Contributions are still being accepted in any amount made out to the Hunt Breast Center or G.A.C.;
