Mother's Day Six Hour Race

Mother's Day Run/Walk Success for 15th year
The 15th edition of the Topsfield 6 - Hour Run/ Walk for Breast Cancer took place under sunny skies this year.
The fundraiser is annually held at Bradley Palmer State Park and raises funds for The Hunt Breast Center. All monies
raised through pledges and contributions are to fight breast cancer. Many thanks go out to the park officials
and volunteers of Gil's Athletic Club, who host the event.
The run was won by Amy Lane, running 42 miles in the 6 hour time limit. On the male
side Daniel Larsen ran 41 miles.
Contributions are still being accepted in any amount made out to the Hunt Breast Center or G.A.C.;
mail to Gil's Grocery, 26 Main St., Topsfield, MA 01983.
