Mother's Day Six Hour Race

Mother's Day Run/Walk Success for 18th year
The 18th edition of the Topsfield 6 - Hour Run/ Walk for Breast Cancer took place under sunny skies and warm temps this year.
The fundraiser is annually held at Bradley Palmer State Park and raises funds for The Hunt Breast Center. All monies
raised through pledges and contributions are to fight breast cancer. Many thanks go out to the park officials
and volunteers of Gil's Athletic Club, who host the event.
The run was won by Scott Traer, setting a new course record of 50 miles in the 6 hour time limit. On the female
side Colleen Cruise ran 34 miles to take the victory.
Contributions are still being accepted in any amount made out to the Hunt Breast Center or G.A.C.;
