Mother's Day Run/Walk Success for 21st year
The twenty-first edition of the Topsfield 6 - Hour Run/ Walk for Breast Cancer took place again this year.
The fundraiser is annually held at Bradley Palmer State Park and raises funds for The Hunt Breast Center. All monies
raised through pledges and contributions are to fight breast cancer. Many thanks go out to the volunteers of Gil's Athletic Club, who host the event.
The run was won by Greg Esbitt, running 37 miles in the 6 hour time limit while Deirdre Lowe finished with the most miles for a woman at 36.
A beautiful but warm day on the old course with over 120 runners and walkers. Another great year. Thanks for coming!
